Permit to leave the country
When a minor leaves Ecuador and during the trip is not accompanied by one of the parents, in all cases, a permit to leave the country is needed.
In the case of possesing 'Patria Potestad', the exit permit document is not necessary for travelling.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Identity document, national ID card (*cédula*), or passport of the authorizing parent, the minor, and the accompanying person.
- Travel itinerary (flight tickets).
- Residential address where the minor will be staying and a contact telephone number.
- Reason for the trip.
- The cost of the Exit Permit is 25 euros; payment must be made on the day of the appointment via bank transfer using a mobile phone app.
To schedule an appointment, please follow these steps:
- Go to: https://citas.cancilleria.gob.ec/
- Choose Administrative Center: PAISES BAJOS LA HAYA – CONSULADO
- Choose the service: PERMISO DE SALIDA
- Enter your personal information and complete the registration validation process.
- Attach a scanned copy of the supporting documents
- Choose the day and time of your appointment
- You will automatically receive an email confirming that your appointment has been registered and that the documents will be validated by an official.
- Please attend your appointment at the scheduled date and time at our offices located at: Koninginnegracht 84, 2514 AJ, The Hague.
